Roman bridge is a masterpiece of ancient style of architecture. It was built by ancient Romans in Ourense, Spain. The bridge is made in stone.


14. Humber Bay Pedestrian Bridge – Toronto, Canada





The Humber Bay Arch Bridge is also known as the Gateway Bridge. The bridge was completed in the mid-1990s. It is 139 meters (456 ft) in length and has a span of 100 meters (330 ft) over the mouth of the Humber River. It serves the purpose of protecting the environmental integrity of the waterway.

The Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge is also known as Yongji Bridge or Panlong Bridge. It’s built on the Linxi River. The bridge was built in 1916. The bridge is constructed with wood and stones. It is 64.4 meters (73.43 yards) long, 3.4 metes (3.72 yards) wide and 10.6 meters (34.78 feet) high.

Sydney Harbour Bridge is a bridge in Sydney, Australia. It carries traffic between the Sydney central business district (CBD) and the North Shore. It was opened in 1932.

10. Khaju Brigde – Isfahan, Iran









Khaju Bridge is an amazing bridge in Isfahan, Iran built by Shah Abbas II around 1650, on the foundations of an older bridge. It connects the  Khaju quarter on the north bank with the Zoroastrian quarter across the Zayandeh River. The bridge is made of stone and bricks. It is 7.5 meters wide.

The bridge was originally known as the New York and Brooklyn Bridge. Being one of the oldest bridges in United States, it was  completed in 1883.  It links the New York City boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn by spanning the East River.

Tower bridge is majestically standing over River Thames, in London, England. The bridge is close to the tower of London and consists of two towers as a part of it’s structure, hence got it’s name the Tower Bridge. The construction of the bridge started in 1886 and was completed in 1894.

The beautiful Patronas Tower, also known as the Twin Tower stand proudly in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. These towers were the world’s tallest buildings from 1998 to 2004. The towers have the most amazing and unique bridge in the world, connecting the two towers on the 41st and 42nd floors. This is the highest 2-story bridge in the world.

The Gateshead Millennium Bridge is a pedestrian and cyclist tilt bridge. The bridge spans the River Tyne in England. It connects the Gateshead’s Quays arts quarter on the south bank, and the Quayside of Newcastle upon Tyne on the north bank. The bridge received the Outstanding Structure Award, in 2005 from International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE).

Millau Viaduct is a cable-stayed road-bridge  spanning the valley of the river Tarn near Millau in southern France. The bridge consists of an eight-span steel roadway supported by seven concrete pylons.

This beautiful and amazing wave shaped pedestrian bridge is the highest pedestrian bridge in Singapore connecting Mount Faber Park and Telok Blangah Hill Park in Singapore. Henderson Waves is a 274-metre (899 ft) long pedestrian bridge. It is 36 meters (118 ft) above Henderson Road.
