Machu Picchu,Peru is the most visited tourist attraction in South America. Also referred as ‘City of the Incas’, Machu Picchu was voted as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in a worldwide Internet poll in 2007.

Machu Picchu was built in 15th century in the classical Inca style, with polished dry-stone walls. It is believed that Machu Picchu was built as an estate for the Inca emperor Pachacuti (1438–1472). It was mainly used for religious and military purposes.

Machu Picchu -Peru location has two seasons. The rainy season is from November to March, which is a time of heavy rains. The dry season is from April to October which is preferred by travelers planning to visit the world heritage site.
