Haiku Ladder Hawaii – Stairway to Heaven

Lets go for a risky hiking trail today in Hawaii. The Haiku stairs also known as the‘Stairway to Heaven‘ is a very steep hiking trail located on the island of Oʻahu of Hawaii. This stairway is one of the most popular and forbidden trails in O’ahu. In older days this long hike way covered just for the beautiful views and people who reached the top could enjoy untamed nature for high up. The hiking trail started off as a wooden ladder on one side of the Ha’iku Valley in the years 1943. These stairs were initially placed for antenna cables which would be used to establish communication between Wahiawa and the Hai’ku Valley Navy Radio Station.
